    Pacific Tuscon Women’s Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) Reviews

    I ordered this bike and another one like it (Pacific Tuscon Men’s Dual-Suspension 26″ bike) for my girlfriend and I. With my 2 day shipping plan they both came in excellent time. But the way they had them package kinda concerned me. Everything was tied in very close together. And they had the frame of the bike jammed into the spocks of the rim so take it out of the box very carefully (because i bent a spock). Now this bike didn’t come in excellent condition. For one the front rim was slightly bent so I had to order another one (The other bike the rims were fine). The customer service was okay. But I was told that my new rim should be at my door in no more than 7 days. Well it took almost 14 days to get here. And i was told “just make sure you throw your old one away”. yeah okay. Also the brakes needed to be tweaked (on both bikes),they worked but not well enough to go mountain biking with it,and also the gears needed tweaking (front and back on this bike)). And if you don’t know what you are doing do not try to do it yourself especially the gears. I cannot give you a price on how much it would cost to have these things done but i used the internet to figure it out. Other than the minor repairs needed I am pleased with my purchase. The suspension is great (really can not feel those minor bumps). I’ve had the two for about 2 months now. Haven’t had the chase to really break them in but seems to be sturdy enough.     i really like the bike. only problem was that when it arrived the front wheel was bent… i had to have them send me a new one, which wasnt a big deal, but now i have to package back up the old one and send it back which is annoying.

    Montague Paratrooper Mountain Folding Bike

    After much research I decided to buy this bike based on 2 important factors for me – 1) I wanted, and needed, a bike that could fold up
    and be placed in my little Scion X-B.
    2) I wanted a bike fairly inexpensive but strong for
    the money. If the U.S. Army and the Marines use this
    bike it’s got to be pretty strong!

    Trust me, you won’t be dissapointed with this bike. How many people can say their bike can fold up in 30 seconds? And if you’re worried about structural integrity the fact that our military uses this says something. You can bring this thing on a plane even!

    I’m gonna give a shout out to the guys at Civilian Lab for offering this awesome bike for less than the competition. If you order from them you should get your bike in about 3-5 days. I got mine in 3! All I did was take it out of the box, put the seat post in, put one of the pedals on and it was totally ready to ride!

    I’m not a hardcore cyclist but I like to ride to work sometimes and do some single track mountain biking when the weather’s right. I saw a fellow camper with this bike in Yosemite a few years ago and tried it out. I really liked the feel of it as a full frame mountain bike — and was sold with the idea of it folding up to fit in the back of my rather compact car.

    When I finally purchased it I replaced my old Mongoose Sycamore. I thought I would sacrifice something by getting this folder, but after getting used to the odd (but good!) appearance, and learning to trust the mono-boom design, it really proved itself. For trails I use the stock knobby tires it came with and for the commute, I use a set of Serfas Drifter City/Hybrid Wire Bead Bicycle Tire (AWESOME). Have not had a flat yet in the nearly two years I’ve had it.

    In all a 5 star — really no other comparable alternative out there.

    I cannot believe how easy it is to fold and then unfold this bike. At first I was a little worried a folding bike would not be stable, but Montague did an outstanding job.
