i bought this bike because i wanted to try out the larger 29 inch wheels without spending a fortune. the price was right. out of the box the bike requires a bit of assembly but it’s not too bad. i was really surprised at the high quality of the frame. the frame drop outs look like belonged on a bike costing a lot more. the components are okay, i’ll probably upgrade the fork. the ride is what impressed me most. i can see how the larger wheels help you go over bumps and rocks easier. i’m really happy with this bike and will probably upgrade components as needed. highly recommended for the price. You get what you pay for… – Schlashnbern – Nowhere, Lousiana
Bike bought for Xmas present for son. Rode bike hard and often. Frame warped after a cupple o months. Liked the bike, 29 inch tires are lots of fun (yeah, I rode it too). Bike shop mentioned this was typical of low end bike frames, especially mountain bikes. So if you ride hard and often, spend a bit more for quality. This bike is not quality.
