Bestco Folding Bike,24″wheels,3 Speeds -RED or IVORY Reviews By Customers
it is very convenient for my Manhattan apartment. It is not a speed bike, but it does get you to point A to point B well enough. Check Special Price!
Good concept, but flawed product. – Karen Morrison – USA
My husband and I ordered a couple of these bikes for Burning Man. The concept is great – a bike that will fold down and be small enough to count as a normal luggage item to an airline if it travels in the box it came in. It’s also easy to fit in the car. And yet, the seat and handlebars adjust so that it can be the right height for an adult. Clever, eh? People who saw the bikes told us how cute they are. One guy thought they were perfect for doing wheelies and had a little fun with it.
The trouble is that the bikes didn’t arrive in good condition. For some reason they are shipped with one pedal attached, even through both pedals can come off, and this makes the bike press against the side of the box awkwardly. The boxes arrived kinda mangled, and while this may have had something to do with FedEx handling, I think the way that the bike was packaged with pokey bits sticking out against the sides of the cardboard had a lot to do with that. One of the bikes was missing a bolt and the wrench that was supposed to be in the box, presumably because they fell out of a hole in the box. The guard that was supposed to protect the derailer was also broken on one of the 2 bikes. One had a tire that was half flat. Neither of them would shift gears properly.
Also, the valves on the tires are not normal (at least not in North America.) The tires can be pumped up using a tire pump that fits a presta valve, but the guy who pumped up the tire for us said that the valves aren’t exactly presta valves, and it’s still a bit awkward.
At 5′4″, I found the maximum height of the seat and handlebars comfortable, but my husband, who is a few inches taller, could not manage to adjust the bike to be comfortable for him.
We managed to make the bikes usable for the week, but if you are considering getting a folding bike, I would suggest spending a little extra money to get a better known brand.

Cheap and poorly made – Joanna Mansbridge – NYC
This bike was completely disappointing. It is poorly made and built for very small and light people (or children). The gears never did work and the back tire blew out after only two weeks. And, perhaps most disappointingly, the folding aspect of the bike worked not at all. i’ve already moved on to a Dahon, which is what i should have gone with in the first place.
In short, just don’t even bother.
